Bali, as an entity with a distinctive artistic development discussion; very traditional or modern or contemporary. Contemporary Art Exhibition, Bali gives a critical approach to the history of art and culture: both in Bali and widely. The goal is to see and to read the history of how the formation of Balinese art and to understand what it was back in Bali painting (drawing-painting). The development of art Bali-modern-postmodern tradition-contemporary art in the context of Indonesia nowadays.

Bali, has now developed as a location of development or as a workplace of the artists: for both who were born and work in Bali or those who are staying in Bali, which in turn influenced by the socio-cultural environment and the arts in Bali. Here, the Bali precedent artists and artists who are not from Bali, in the history of art in Bali have always appeared.

Among other are the tendency of Balinese artists to use the content of art / cultural / social of Bali as a content of their work; the tendency of Balinese artists who do not use the content of art / cultural / social of Bali as their groundwork. And also, the tendency of the artists who are not from Bali (migrants), who use the base of Balinese art as their content of work.

Ideas and exploration of the artists that show the possibility of the artistic potential of perspectives and hybrid conceptions in the form of painting, drawing, and the form of three-dimensional works.
