Transcendental
Syahnwar Alwi and Irfan Ksatria, both an emerging artist from Indonesia will be exhibiting their major work in KOI KEMANG with the concept of ‘transcendental”.
The exhibition will be open on the 30th July 2016, 7pm at KOI KEMANG. The show will run until 26th of August 2016. The event is free and open to the public.
The work will focused on the theme of “transcendental”, the artists is focusing on the expression of total honesty, which is bringing their unconscious state of mind to the artwork.
Transcendental:
State of abstraction, fantasies raging in the unconscious. Sort of expressions with an altered state towards various mediums.
Syahnwar Alwi is a contemporary artist that expresses his art within theobservation of social anxiety and human behavior of a developing country, The Republic of Indonesia. Syahnwar uses signature characters to portray his examination of the society which he lives in. Originated from the remote islands of Banda in the eastern of Indonesia, to living in the metropolitan city of Jakarta and currently residing in Bali- the island of the Goddess, makes him aware of the vast difference of customs - different ways of living, thinking and reading the social context.
The style of his art is very significant, he uses bold lines and free-form sketching style towards his unique figurative character, which he composed in a satire story that critic everyday life.
As for Irfan Ksatria, is a twenty years old artist from Jakarta, Indonesia. Based on a musical background, specializes in percussion and free form art. Mid-way doing a bachelors degree in SAE institute in an audio engineering course. Had recently started experimenting with different mediums in art in the middle year of 2015. Intending to spread forms of illusionism emotions and abstraction
