Dito Yuwono akan menampilkan presentasi artistiknya setelah satu bulan melakukan riset atas praktek fotografer keliling di Monumen Nasional (Monas). Dalam proses penelitian tersebut, ia menemukan beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi keberadaan fotografer tersebut sebagai salah satu elemen yang ada dalam kaitan dengan industri turisme. Proyek ini merupakan kelanjutan dari kerja penelitian serupa yang ia lakukan di Kaliurang, Yogyakarta. Kala itu, ia mengumpulkan lembaran-lembaran polaroid milik salah satu fotografer dan menghadirkannya kembali sebagai upaya untuk membaca kembali jejak mereka di Kaliurang.
Proyek ini merupakan salah satu usaha yang cukup menarik untuk diperhatikan, terutama dalam memahami fotografi sebagai sebuah hal yang punya kaitan penting dengan elemen sosial lain. Dito, yang juga anggota dari kelompok fotografi kontemporer Yogyakarta—Ruang MES56, mencoba menemukan hal-hal lain di dalam fotografi yang bukan sekedar teknis. Recollecting Memory: Tukang Foto Keliling akan menampilkan usaha Dito dalam membaca perilaku manusia dalam kaitannya dengan fotografi. Ia menempatkan dirinya sebagai pengamat situasi yang mempengaruhi praktek kerja fotografer di Monas. Apa saja hal yang kini mempengaruhi praktek mereka? Bagaimana hubungannya dengan birokrasi resmi pemerintah?

Dito Yuwono will showcase its artistic presentation after a month doing research over the practice of itinerant photographer at the Monumen Nasional (Monas). In the research process, he found out some things that affect the existence of such photographers as one element that exists in relation to the tourism industry. This project is a continuation of similar research work he did in Kaliurang, Yogyakarta. At that time, he gathered the sheets of polaroid belongs to one of the photographers and host it back as an attempt to re-read their tracks in Kaliurang.
This project is one of the efforts that are interesting enough to be noticed, especially in understanding photography as a thing that had an important relationship with other social elements. Dito, who is also a member of a group of Yogyakarta contemporary photography — Ruang MES56, try to find other things in photography that are not merely technical. Recollecting Memory: Itinerant Photographers will feature Dito's perspective in reading of human behavior in relation to photography. He established himself as an observer of situations that affect the working practices of the photographer in the monument. What are the things that now affects their practice? How to do with official government bureaucracy?
