| CINEMA Don Camillo This month the Italian Cultural Institute organizes the Cine Club dedicated to the series of Don Camillo. A series of screened comic tussles in a small town of the Po Valley between a pugnacious parish priest and his nemesis, the Communist mayor, Peppone, portrayed in the popular novels of Giovanni Guareschi.

Giordano Passini, was born in 1986 and started to study music at 12. He started with piano and after a year passed to classical guitar. He studied in many conservatories, from the one in Frosinone to the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. He has held concerts at various Institution, Festival and Musical Events in Italy and abroad. He plays a guitar made by the Neapolitan guitar maker Alessandro Marseglia. ART "Celebrating Murni" July 16--September 18 | Sudakara Art Space, Sanur Bali The Italian Cultural Institute in Jakarta supports the exhibition "Celebrating Murni". Sudakara Art Space, Sanur's premier art gallery, is taking part with Ketemu Project Space in this year-long project to celebrate the legacy of the art of the late Balinese artist I GAK Murniasih that features a month-long exhibition of selected works from the artist, from 16th July to 18th September 2016. With legacy of I GAK Murniasih as the focal point, the project has invited both established and emerging artists from across generations. Participating artists from Bali, Indonesia and internationally have been invited to create new work for the exhibition. One of them is Edmondo Zanolini, an Italian artist based in Ubud, Bali. EXHIBITION 4 projects for development 23 June—31 December | IIC Jakarta The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute Jakarta together with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organized the exhibition 4 projects for development in collaboration with the Agenzia Contrasto. The exhibition's goal is to highlight the concrete efforts Italy is making in development programs which are an essential part of Italian foreign policy. The exhibition includes images taken by four notable photographers from Magnum Agency: Abbas, Jerome Sessini, Jean Gaumy, and Stuart Franklin of cooperation projects in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Kenya, and Senegal. DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE Vico Magistretti: A Traveling Archive September 8 | 7.00 pm | IIC Jakarta
A Traveling Archive takes an in-depth look at Vico Magistretti's creativity through his work with some of the most prominent Italian design companies: Artemide, De Padova, Flou, Kartell, Fontana Arte, Campeggi, Oluce and Schiffini. The exhibition comprises sketches, pictures, notes, letters and faxes, as well as a selection of Magistretti's most important creations. The exhibition is curated by Rosanna Pavoni, Director of the Fondazione Vico Magistretti in Milan. The exhibition also includes an installation that "recreates" Vico Magistretti's studio in Milan.
