'If Time Stopped' Exhibition Opening | Gajah Gallery Yogyakarta

	IF TIME STOPPED 17 August 2016, Wednesday, 6.30pm Gajah Gallery Yogyakarta is pleased to present If Time Stopped: a group exhibition showcasing some of Indonesian contemporary art's most promising talent. Featuring Afdhal, Riri Suheri, Dery Pratama, Taufik Ermas, Erizal As, Risman Marah and Loli Rusman, If Time Stopped links the paintings and sculptures of these artists with a common thread: the ephemerality of time within the realm of art - from the artist's process to the viewer's experience. The artwork selected for this exhibition deftly captures the human fascination with transience and temporality, abstracted through the perspectives of seven rising talents. Renowned art critic Aminuddin TH Siregar has written a curatorial essay which will be released on the opening night in a published catalog.
